A Really Good Day
The day started with the alarm going off at 5 am in order to head out on a 4 hour drive to Frostburg. Daughter #1 graduated Saturday with her Master's in Education. Here I am finding her name in the program and wondering how long it is going to take to hand all those people their diplomas.
After the 2 and 1/2 hour ceremony it was hard to find her in the sea of graduates.
In order to protect her privacy, I won't show you the pictures of the proud dad with the beautiful new graduate.
We had to then jump in the car and drive another 2 hours to meet up with Her family to celebrate the engagement of a nephew. Those of us boomers who grew up in the 60's have plenty of good brownie stories to share so here I am telling mine. It's surprising that after all these years and all those brownies we can still remember what we used to put in them.

How I Spent My Vacation Part 2
I finally managed to find some time to go play in the driveway with the Mustang.
Tackling the rust issues is a priority so getting those holes covered with metal was job number one.
The front floor was not too difficult but the corners and bends of the trunk were not so fun.
Not bad, if I say so myself but there is still lots more to do.
