How To Kill an Umbrella

I looks like I am taking apart the lawn furniture for winter storage but in reality I am trying to figure out how to create a rain proof spot underneath the deck. For the cats.



I killed the umbrella when it got caught in the gutter and it snapped right off the pole. That poor umbrella has been through a lot but this time it's done. Really done. SHE'S pretty mad.

I know I have been home too long when I find myself hanging cat toys from trees so the feral cats will have something to play with. I should also mention I bought the toys. I need a job.

Online At Last

During my long recovery SHE dug out some unused computer parts and set me up on Facebook and Twitter. I am also now able to handle email and so can manage my own football pool without HER help. Almost.

A Big Ouch

This is more information than you probably need but I just had to share. Never mind the lost belly hair, I want to show off this new type of bandage that lets you take a shower. The white gauze is covered with a big clear patch that keeps the water out. I was never a big fan of sponge baths, so this is the best thing ever.
