A Mighty Wind

At about 7 am I woke up to the sound of something big hitting the house.

It was big all right. The wind had picked up the cabana and tossed it into the sliding glass doors. The doors didn't break but the cabana sure did. The thick metal poles were bent by the impact. Now how are we going to cover up the Occupy Kitty City that we have going on up there on the deck?

Done!

It wasn't much of a challenge after all. I must have some harder ones around here somewhere.

Everyday is Saturday

When I am not out tearing up the golf course, I latch hook rugs.

I also work on puzzles.
Retired life is good.

Music Man

The next step in my man cave clean up is to do something that makes sense with my hundreds of CDs.

Mission accomplished. Now what am I going to do with the 4 crates of albums?

A Weighty Issue

I made someone very happy this week. For 20 years, the first thing you saw when you walked in the door was the giant weight machine on the lower level. It was big and it was ugly.

She has been whining about getting rid of it for years. It is finally gone-at least from this spot.

One of the rooms I have been working on is all for me.

All of my weight lifting equipment is now in one place and out of sight.

I even let her put her trampoline and stationary bike in there.

I had to or she won't help me set up my computer in the formerly empty corner.

Put a Door On It

The closet door jam is crooked. Very crooked.

I had to do major damage to the new door in order for it to close.

Shaving off a big chunk left the end to be reattached.

In a day or two when the glue is dry we shall see if all this work was worth it.
