Home Improvement Part 3

I know this doesn't look like progress but trust me, it is. A few weeks ago you couldn't even walk through this room.

It's been one year to the day that I retired after delivering people's mail for 37 years.



My hat says it all. I don't miss it one little bit.

Home Improvement Part 2

Room number one is done and room number two is near completion.



Now the trick will be to keep the kids from filling them up with their junk. This isn't a storage facility any longer. Rent a Pod.

SHE went back to work so of course I had to tear up the house.



I painted one of the downstairs bedrooms and then put down a new tile floor-all by myself.



This is going to be MY room. In a 5 bedroom, 3 bath house shared now by only 2 people, every room counts and I called dibbs on this one. I am not sure what I am going to do with it but SHE wants all my exercise equipment in it.

It has not been very cold around here.



We have seen no snow at all.



In fact, it has been more like Easter than New Year's.



I can't complain. It made taking down the lights a breeze this year.

A Very Merry Christmas

It was finally cold enough to make a fire.



I went to the movies this afternoon and and tonight I got to watch football.



And better yet, I get to play golf tomorrow. It's been a great Christmas.

Christmas on the Boardwalk

Every year we say we are going out to look at the lights in the town but it is always so cold we never do it.



This year we had no excuse because it has been in the 60's here for the last few days.



Now if it would only stay in the 60's until New Year's Day it would make that jump in the bay almost bearable.
