Good Eats

Today I learned that cooking a turkey on the grill is a good thing-a very good thing.

It certainly was something to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Life in Miniature

 Digging through my junk, I found some model kits I had never finished. When I was a kid, I did these all the time. It's not easy to find the things you need to work on models these days but I found enough to get started.

Now that one is done, I have the problem of where to put them. I see "cat toy" written all over this.

Saturday in the City

 Daughter's place of business was getting ready to open.

The early November weather wasn't cooperating so the ice was taking its time to settle in.

 It was perfect weather for me.

 I don't want to ice skate.

I'd rather wander around the streets of Georgetown than slide around on ice any day.

There is good coffee in Georgetown...

 ...and there are good things to eat in Dean and Deluca's.

Who needs ice when you have a jazz band playing and sunshine to sit in?

Fright Night

 She only lets me eat like this a couple of times a year.

 Hot dogs and cheese wrapped in a biscuit. What's not to like?

 Then there was the fried flour and sugar. Yum.

Dessert was the usual.

The only thing is-she makes me dress like this.
